Cross Country Faces Tough Competition at Roberts Wesleyan

The SUNY Erie cross country teams took on one of their toughest tests of the season at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University. The meet featured high-level competition from NCAA Division I, II, and III programs, giving the Kats valuable experience ahead of their championship meets.
Men's 8k Results
SUNY Erie placed 24th out of 25 scoring teams in a stacked field. Five Erie men set personal records for the 8k distance, showing steady improvement as the season progresses.

- Samuel May – 280th place (31:12.9)
- Antwoine Hatten – 314th place (35:30.6, personal best)
- Aidan Terrill – 317th place (36:39.6, personal best)
- Jalin Clark – 324th place (38:29.7, personal best)
- Merveilles Katumba – 325th place (38:36.1)
- Brendan Terrill – 326th place (38:41.4)
Women's 5k Results:
Erie women were led by Emma Palumbo, who set a season-best time by 53 seconds.

- Erik Biersch – 255th place (42:19.9, personal best)
"This is likely the biggest, most competitive race we'll face all season. We had some excellent performances, both setting personal bests and learning how to run smart in races. Getting an experience like this will prepare us for our championships in a few weeks," said Coach Chris Muldoon.
The cross country teams will next compete at the Kara Hall Memorial Invitational, hosted by SUNY Fredonia.
