The Kats went 2-1 in pod play when they defeated Monroe Community College (25-16, 25-19 and 25-22) and lost to Finger Lakes Community College (25-20, 25-21 and 25-17) on Saturday.
Sophomore Delia Lake led the team in kills with 19 while freshman Allison Gummo had 40 assists on the day.
"Delia showed why she is one of the best middle blockers in the state today," said Coach Craig Starzynski. "Every week we are getting tougher and faster and that's a testament to how hard these players are working to improve. Faith Gummo played incredibly well offensively and Ciana Wiseman is doing great work at the Libero position.
Erie will stay on the road next Saturday, September 28th when they travel on Onondaga to take on Onondaga Community College and Niagara County Community College.
