Erie Community College volleyball dropped both matches in POD play at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Saturday.
In the first match, Erie fell to Jefferson Community College 3-0 with scores of 25-17, 25-18 and 25-17. The Kats faced the home team Raiders in the second match, losing in three games with scores of 25-11, 25-10 nd 25-14.
"Even though we lost, we took away a lot of positives. Our middle blockers Delia and Sami played great and hit aggressively all day," said Coach Craig Starzynski. "Kait Adams was our best passer throughout the day. Still lots of things to work on. But we showed we can stay energized even if we are down."
Diarah Dilbert led the day with 12 kills while Samantha Padila and Delia Lake each had nine. Autumn Galdys finished with 32 assists and Sarah Barnard led with 17 digs.
Erie will return to the court on Thursday, September 12th when they take on SUNY Niagara at NCCC.
