Erie to Host Swimming and Bowling Regional Championships This Weekend

Some of the top student-athletes in Region 3 will make their way to Western New York this weekend as Erie Community College plays host to the Region 3 Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships as well as the Region 3 Men's and Women's Bowling Championships.

The Region 3/Northeast District Swimming and Diving Championships will be held at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center and will consist of four sessions held over three days. Session one will start at 6 p.m. Friday, February 14. There are two sessions on Saturday, begining at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The final session will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5 per session or $15 for an All-Session pass.

The Region 3 Bowling Championships are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 15 at Airport Lanes in Cheektowaga. Admission is free.
