Women's Bowling Competes in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic
The Erie women's bowling team traveled to Allentown, PA to participate in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic. The team finished in seventh place overall. Freshman Katelyn Kittleson lead the way, averaging 182.2 over the five games and she also had the team high game of 231.
Overall we are pleased with how our ladies team handled themselves in the match. With 60% of our roster being freshmen, it was encouraging to see all of them explore outside of their bowling comfort zones in how they played the lanes, said coach David Zajac. "We will continue to work together on and off the lanes for a successful second half of the season."
Out of 67 individuals, the Erie women all finished in the top 30.
Katelyn Kittleson 11th Place
Nadine Carr 17th Place
Alexis Klenke 18th Place
Jessica Fullone 23rd Place
Abby Schroeder 28th Place
The team will be back in action after the holiday break when they head back to Pennsylvania to participate in the Greater Pittsburgh Collegiate Classic.
