Kats Basketball Drops Pair of Games to Monroe

The Erie Men's and Women's basketball teams hosted Monroe Community College on Wednesday night at the Burt Flickinger Center with both teams losing to the Tribunes.
In the first game of the evening and playing with a short bench, the women lost 72-37. Briana Millender was a highlight for the Kats hitting a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds. Nya Dias added 9 points and 8 rebounds.
Depsite having two players with a double-double the men could not pull out a victory and lost 90-79. Maji David-Maji led the team in points and rebounds with 18 and 13 respectively. Michael Agiddi had 12 points and ten rebounds in the loss.
The teams travel to Niagara County Community College for their next contest on February 1st.
