Erie swept SUNY Broome Community College on Saturday, winning game one 7-6 and game two 21-12.
Game one saw the Kats come back from a two run defecit last in the game. In a game that saw four lead changes, Erie would find themselves down by on going into the seventh inning. The Kats tied in up to force an eight inning where they would win the game.
Julia Kilonsky led the offense with three hits in the game while Alyssa Quagliana and Alyssa Kilonsky each had two. Amelia Potter got the win on the mound allowing zero runs over the final three innings.
In game two, the Erie bats got hot, accumulating 20 hits over five innings. The Kats scored eleven runs in the first inning and never looked back. Amelia Potter led the offense with four hits and five RBIs.
Erie will host Onondaga Community College for a pair of games on Sunday. Game one is set for 1:00 pm.
