The Erie Community College softball team split their double header with Monroe Community College on Wednesday. Game one saw the Kats put up eight hits in a 10-7 loss. Julia Klonsky and Mia Trietley each had two hits in the game. Klonsky led the offense with three RBIs including a home run. Amelia Potter was on the mound, allowing 11 hits over seven innings of work.
The Kats would rally in the second game winning 10-8. Trietley and Alyssa Quagliana led the team with three hits each while Amelia Potter added two of her own. Potter was on the mound again, this time allowing ten hits over seven innings.
Erie will play another pair of games on Thursday when they host Genesee Community College. First pitch is at 3:00 pm.
