The Erie hockey team's season came to end in the quarter finals of the UNYCHL D2 playoffs. The Kats fell to rival Niagara County Community College 3-1 on Sunday at Hyde Park Ice Pavilion.
Scoring the lone goal for Erie was freshman Andrew Baker. Sophomore Jayce Faso made 34 saves in the loss.
After opening the season with five straight losses, Erie finished with a record of 14-12 to secure second place in the division.
