Bowling Teams Win Brick City Championship

The Erie men's and women's bowling teams are both Brick City Champions. 

The Ladies finished almost 1000 over the second place finishers with 4919 pins.  Alexis Klenke, Nadine Carr and Abby Schroeder were named to the All Tournament Team, all finishing in the top ten. 
 
On the men's side, Declan Stiles led the Kats, finishing third over all and being named to the All Tournament Team. Anthony Shaver, Robert Richmond and Jeffrey Ciruczak also finished in the top ten. Overall the team finished with 6821 pins. 
 

Coach David Zajac said of the victories, "Both teams were determined to improve on the finishes from Saturday's event and they did not disappoint. The guys took an early lead and never let it slip away. While the ladies win again came as a result of unique circumstances, all of the lady's bowled well to earn this win. With our Region III Championships next Saturday, these wins will hopefully propel us to a solid performance there as well."
