Men's Bowling Participates in Lehigh Valley Classic
The Erie men's bowling team finished in 10th out of 25 teams at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic in Allentown, PA this week. Anthony Shaver was the high average for the varsity team, averaging 191.6 over the five team games. He also shared the high game for the varsity squad with Bobby Richmond.
For the JV team, Declan Stiles claimed the high average with an average for the five games of 206.2. This was also the highest for the team overall. Out of 175 individuals, the team had five bowlers in the top 50.

Head Coach Dave Zajac said of the team, "Our JV and varsity players did a great job of holding their own over the last two days. Several of our freshmen finished in the top 50 individually and our sophomores used their previous years experience to their advantage. Headed into our last block of four games, the varsity team rallied to overcome 152 pin deficit to catch NJIT and to claim the 10th place finish.
