Kats Struggle on Offense in Loss to College of DuPage
Orchard Park, NY- The Erie Community College football team continues to struggle on offense this season. Managaing just 162 total yards of offense, the Kats lost to the College of DuPage 20-3.
After a scoreless first quarter, DuPage opened the scoring with a 10 yard touchdown run. The Kats scored on a Dawson Evitts 21 yard field goal for their only points of the day. DuPage ended the half up 14-3. They finished the scoring in the 4th with a touchdown.
Quarterback duties were split between Spencer Loftus who went 11 of 24 and 76 yards and Connor Jones who was 5 of 20 with 22 yards and one interception. The ground game was ineffective as well with only 64 yards, 42 of them from Khalil Horton.
The Kats will have an extra week to regroup. Their next game is on Saturday, October 19th when they travel to Nassau Community College.
