Kats Host Jamestown for Double Header on Saturday.

Erie Community College baseball hosted Jamestown Community College for a pair of games at North Campus on Saturday. 

Sophomore Ethan Stevens shut down Jamestown, throwing a complete game shutout and leading the Kats to a 7-0 victory in game one.  Stevens surrendered zero runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out 14. 

Erie secured the victory thanks to four runs in the fourth inning. Andrew Nantau and Christian Cabrera all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
The Kats opened up scoring in the first inning when Tyler Kerl homered on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.  Erie totaled 11 hits. Christain Pagano, Cabrera, Harold Torres, and Kerl each managed multiple hits in the game. Kerl, Torres, Cabrera, and Pagano all had two hits. Erie didn't commit a single error in the field. Torres had the most chances in the field with 15.

The Kats nabbed the lead late in game two to take a 3-1 victory  The game was tied at one with Erie batting in the bottom of the sixth when Colby Wilson singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
Connor Desiderio earned the victory.  The fireballer went seven innings, allowing one run on seven hits, striking out seven and walking zero.  

Erie tallied six hits in the game. Christain Pagano and Ladislaus Landwehr each collected multiple hits. Landwehr and Pagano each managed two hits to lead the Kats. Erie once again did not commit a single error in the field. Shane Pray had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.

The two teams are right back at it on Sunday when Jamestwon will play host to the Kats.
