Erie pitching was strong on Sunday as the Kats shut out the Onondaga Lazers in both games of their double header.
Dylan Moorhouse was on the mound in the first game. Moorhouse allowed just six hits in the 2-0 win. He struck out two and walked zero.
Erie tallied six hits in the game. Christain Pagano and Andrew Nantau each collected multiple hits. Nantau and Pagano each collected two hits. The Kats were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Colby Wilson made the most plays with 11.
Connor Desiderio took the mound in game two, allowing zero runs and besting Onondaga by a score of 3-0. The hurler allowed three hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Nantau went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Erie at the plate.
The two teams will battle again in a pair of games on Thursday April 27th when Onondaga visits Erie North Campus.
