Baseball Splits Double Header the Finger Lakes CC

Erie men's baseball traveled to Finger Lakes Community College for a pair of games on Sunday.  Despite seeing its four-run lead whittled down by the end in game one, the Kats still held on for a 5-4 victory 
Erie got on the board in the first inning when Colby Wilson singled on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.
Connor Desiderio was on the mound the Kats.  The pitcher allowed four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out four and walking zero.

Erie tallied nine hits in the game. Harold Torres and Wilson all had multiple hits with Torres leading with three hits in three at bats.
The momentum continued for the Lakers in game two as the Kats watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in the 4-1 loss. 

Ryan Moran led things off on the mound for Erie. The pitcher surrendered four runs on seven hits over four innings, striking out two and walking one. Nolan Evans and Tyson Kovats entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and one inning respectively. Carter Whitehead, Harold Torres, Christian Cabrera, and Christain Pagano each managed one hit each for the Kats. 

The Kats are right back at it with two games on Monday at Corning Community College. First pitch at 1:00 pm.
