Volleyball Rebounds with Win over TCCC

Buffalo, NY- The Erie women's volleyball team snapped their two game losing streak with a decisive win over Tompkins Cortland Community College.  The Kats defeated the Panthers in three straight sets 25-17, 25-5, 25-6 at the Burt Flickinger Center on Thursday evening.

The team controlled the play from the first set and never looked back.  "Our serving came alove and we were able to control the pace of the game." said coach Craig Starzynski.

The Kats served 22 aces through out the game with sophomore Aurora Davis leading the way with seven of the aces along with seven kills and five digs.  

Erie improved to 5-6 for the season and will return to action on Tuesday, October 5 when they host Cayuga Community College.
