Volleyball Begins Season at Owens Invitational

Perrysburgh, OH- SUNY Erie Community College women's volleyball kicked off its 2021 season by traveling to Ohio to participate in the Owens Inviational. The team went 1-3 over the two day event. On Friday, the team opened with a 16-25, 18-25, 23-25 loss to SchoolCraft Community College. The second game of the day resulted in a four set loss, 22-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-25 to Kelloge College.
On Saturday, the Kats began the day in the win column. They defeated Henry Ford College in three sets, 25-20, 25-22, 25-20. They could not maintain the momentum and fell in the second game to Lansing
The Kats will return to action when they host Genesee Community College at the Burt Flickinger Center at 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 2nd.
