Dryden, NY -- The Kats offense was in full force as they defeated Tompkins Cortland Community College on Thursday, 28-1 and 19-0.
In game one, Kayla Wolinski lead the Kats with five RBI, going 3 for 4 at the plate with a homerun. Morgan Ryerse was also 3 for 4 at the plate, adding four RBI. Carli Bogue would add a homerun and three RBI while getting the win as pitcher as she struck out seven batters in the 28-1 win.
Game two was all Kats again as the Kats picked up the 19-0 win with pitcher Brittany McAndrews striking out seven batters. Shelby Simmeth lead the Kats with four RBI while McAndrews, Bogue and Wolinski would add three RBI each.
The Kats are back in action Sunday when they travel to Broome Community College at 1PM for a doubleheader.
