Kats Lose Season Finale at Highmark Stadium

Buffalo, NY- The Erie Community College football team lost to Sussex County Community College 20-17 on Saturday. The Kats played their final game of the season at Highmark Stadium- home of the Buffalo Bills.
The Erie offense, decimated by injuries at the quarterback position, has struggled offensively all season. Sophomore Trenton Funches threw for just 89 yards and one touchdown while being intercepted three times. Freshman John Amaning managed 44 yards on the ground on 14 attempts. Nigel Robinson led the defense with 14 tackles while Christian Ozolins had thirteen.
The Kats finished 1-9 in Head Coach Mike Kemp's second season at the helm.
